Sharks Fin

Quiraing, Skye, Scotland

A 20 minute flat walk along the Trotternish ridge near the Quiraing curves around the escarpment to give a very fine view of the sharks fin. Multiple prolonged summer showers and sudden squalls made photographing this scene both difficult but very exciting as light blasted the hills through gaps in the clouds. This was one of the few shots taken not unduly affected by rain.
