Arctic Roll

Loch A Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland

I arrived at Loch a Chroisg on the second day of a three day freeze that saw temperatures plummet to minus 26 degrees celcius. This was at its absolute coldest with freezing mist building thick crystalline rime at an almost visible rate. This little wire post fence looked particularly interesting especially as the owner appeared to have plans to extend it well into the loch. The rest of the fence was left spiralled into an arctic roll on the last post.
