Morning Bright

Storr, Skye, Scotland

Even though it is around 5.30am and an hours walk to my current viewpoint. The Old Man of Storr is a major photographic attraction. Shrouded in a haze of burnished gold with the light of dawn bursting over the verdant slopes is another photographer preparing to capture first light. Emmanuel Coupe is a nice fella, a very good photographer and a regular visitor to this island and like me he seizes every opportunity to see it at its finest even if that does mean a twilight stroll through some of the densest pine woods to get here. I rarely shoot with humans present in the image but his red jacket stands out very well and gives the place a wonderful sense of scale.

Very nice composition and the red jacket is eye-catching though he looks so small in the image! Voted
