Skeleton Tree

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland

I visited this old tree very recently and was a little saddened to find yet another limb has succumbed to the elements weakening the appearance and overall shape of this fantastic dead tree. This was shot last year on a glorious November afternoon with snow dusting the summit of the Buachaille and a ring of cloud encircling the summit. I decided on using a shallow depth of field to focus attention on the tree in its surroundings.
