Sandstone Wash

Cove Bay, Moray, Scotland

A recent favourite of mine making use of the colours that were around on a very dull wet evening well after the sun had set. The light from one side is indirect and is from a relatively bright area of sky. I had noticed it shining on the edge of these beautiful sandstone slabs beneath an inky blue twilight sky . The water here always seems to manage a deep green colour so I felt the colour combination would prove intriguing with a long exposure.
