Its amazing the speed at which some leaves change like beech which quickly turn from green to gold to a brilliant copper and slower changes like the Sycamore which gradually yellow up becoming gold. Sycamore is a particularly distinctive shape and I decided to place an autumn leafy spray of them against a copper cloak backdrop of out of focus beech. It remains one of my favourite autumn shots.
