Sunflower Folds

Valensole, Provence, France.

A field of sunflowers situated on a sloping hillside dapples with light and shade in the raking light of an evening sun. I had to wait for the cloud to drift slowly into position and fill a rather bland sky but the result was definitely worthwhile.
