Independance Day

Findhorn, Moray, Scotland.

Realising something very dramatic was happening with the sky outside our house at around sunset I hurriedly packed my bags and headed for our nearest beach, Findhorn. I was amazed to see a total re-enactment of Independance Day, clearly an alien craft with occupants of immeasurably superior intellect were landing on our beach. The otherworldly experience was completed by a couple of totally irrational thugs who seemed intent on beating me up and hurling rocks at both me and my camera, I guess the aliens rejected them on the grounds of low intellect, pity.
Anyway this was the only frame I got.

NEW!! Photography workshops and masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

Brilliant, Ian.
So glad that you are the winner of that sorry encounter, and this photo is a true gem, so lucky that the camera stood still...

Amazing shot Ian, and typical that those little rock-throwing tossers probably didn't even notice the beauty that you saw - their loss, as usual.
