The snow dusted Sisters dominate the head of the Glencoe valley rising precipitously from the road with an immediacy bordering on claustrophobic. I climbed to a suitably high vantage point with a flat rocky ledge enabling the sinuous twist of the busy A82 to be excluded and benefitting from less distortion caused by any upward tilt of the camera. I was most intrigued by the soft coloured light in the sky one side was blue the other a soft pink where the setting sun had stained a few of the clouds, subtley casting their colour across the snow dusted slopes.
