You Cannot Be Cirrus

Glencoe, Scotland.

Whilst on an autumn exploration of Glencoe I was thrilled to find this beautiful wispy flag of cirrus cloud being pulled sideways by the high altitude jet stream. The vivid blue sky clashed with the orange grasses providing strong juxtaposition of these two elements but alas too strong it overpowered the clouds. It wasn't until I converted it too monochrome that the image came to life creating a wonderfully powerful image that far excelled the colour version.

NEW!! photographic workshops and masterclasses now displayed at TRANSIENT LIGHT.
