Edge Of The Freezer

Loch a Chroisg, Achnasheen, Scotland.

Emerging from the mist and shimmering in a cloak of thick ice, hoar frosted birch trees in the bowl of Loch A Chroisg stand like silent statues, not a breath of air moves and exhaled breath curls away like smoke from a snuffed candle.

Now I see how close that tree was to the icy water!! ;~]

Very 3-D in effect. The distant glimpse o fthe opposite shore is amazing and really pulls it together with the near-far relationships.
