Zen Rannoch Pano

Rannoch moor, Glencoe, Scotland.

First thing on this particular morning there was not a soul to be seen, but this changed as the day progressed because those perfect reflections didn't diminish one iota. The little island birch tree drizzled in gold leaf once again becomes a powerful focal point though primarily in reflection where it was carefully organised to sit between the crook of the reflected snow capped Blackmount.

NEW!! photography workshops and masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

A masterpiece Ian, there's so much to admire about this photo. Beautifully cold winter's colours, a mirror-perfect reflection, and a strong confident composition holding everything together...great stuff! V
