Autumn at Rannoch moor is a blaze of colour. Though devoid of trees the grasses adopt a rich fiery red hue which contrasts wonderfully with the cool blues reflected from a cloud filled sky above the distant black peak. I loved the way the grasses had been combed across this small boggy isthmus doubtless blown flat by wind and rain forming textured brush strokes across the land.
