Kaleidoscope Glencoe

Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Scotland.

Although there are few finer locations to photograph at sunrise this shot was taken at sunset with mist regenerating itself as it lifts off dew laden hills behind. The emerald green tree apparently unaffected by autumns march towards winter stands out beautifully in a sea of orange grasses with purple tinged mountains behind.

NEW!! Photographic workshops / masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

Beautiful composition and colours, Ian. There's so much detail in the photo, from the foreground right through to the distant hills, it's almost tangible!! And I agree with Tony, the reflected tree is sublime....lovely photo, V+
