Elgol Sombre

Elgol, Skye, Scotland.

Elgol is a pretty dramatic place with its soaring ridge of background mountains and honeycombed cliffs but it is not really portrayed at its best in fine weather and blue clear skies. Here it is wearing a sombre grey suit which to my mind is far more appropriate dress.

It is the virtual, but not complete absense of colour, that makes those delicate hues that are present, stand out so deliciously to my eyes. I personally think a black and white conversion would lessen the impact and mood that twilight conveys.

Given the near lack of color anyway, have you considered a B&W version?
