One small section of Hopeman bay has sandstone rock that seems to have formed into layers like stacked coins in some areas it has broken up into perfect rectangular slabs of even thickness looking for all the world like ginger snaps. I used the warm light of a setting sun to help emphasise the colour and was pleased to see a wonderful display of crespecular rays forming on the horizon. A glorious end to a really lovely summer day's photography.
