Croatia - Paklenica NP

We stayed two nights in the village of Stari Grad overlooking the Adriatic Sea. On Wednesday 16 May we started our walk in the main gorge of Velika Paklenica with its towering karst cliffs. I joined the "A" team that did a fairly demanding 11K walk climbing and descending about 700m in the Velebit Mountain Range. Most of the paths were covered with broken rock that was slippery in many places. One of our party sustained minor injuries but otherwise we were unscathed. The walk gave us glorious mountain views, Another spectacle was watching mountain climbers in action.

Due to high contrast, some scenes were a tough test for my little Panasonic DMC-GM5 that I used on the tougher walks. I reckon it worked well.
