It is easy to see most of the sights in Nancy in one day, which are within easy walking distance of the superb Place Stanislace in the centre of town. This place really lifts your spirits. Nancy offers some excellent museums and art galleries as well as very elegant architecture and smart shops.

Unfortunately, the weather was not very helpful when we were there. The light overcast skies led to dull lighting and excessive contrast between our photographic subjects and the sky.
