Kid's Healthy Living Style Expo & Labor Day Celebration. Start the school year right at this Sat., September 4th 9 am -2 pm "Kid's Healthy Living Style" Expo, at the Heart of the Hudson Valley Farmers Market. The focus will be on how children can learn to have a healthier living style. The a day will be filled with fun and important information for kids, parents and adults that will include; a healthier diet with fresh food, exercises, talks with health professionals, a speech about children with diabetes and kid's activities. Some of the highlights of the event;
*Eliza Benfer - 10 am - will be performing by the pond and speaking about children with diabetes.
*Casey Quinn- Goshen - Shows how exercising can be fun with Hooping, meditative, low impact activity.*Joan Miller -11:45 Kids Yoga by the pond (1/2 hr class), (please bring a mat)
*Judi Burns-EnergizeU-Demoing exercise techniques using;stretchy bands & exercise balls. Teaching what to eat for a healthy snack like, local salsa with baked tortilla chips. She will be available to talk with parents about the services she offer in terms of personal training/lifestyle coaching for individual children or entire families.
