Hi there! Wow -- awesome work!! We have a 1940 house (Bal'more, hon)and are getting ready to plunge into a limited-scope kitchen upgrade. We were thinking black and white linoleum squares, but I love the way your cream marmorette looks. Do you strip it every 3 months? And does it show lots of dirt? Our backyard is in need of lots of help so we track in more mud than seems possible.... Thanks for sharing your lovely house and hard work! Makes me nostalgic for Seattle where we lived from '97-'01 while my husband was in grad school. (Note old netscape username.) Nothing can compare to the beauty of the PNW. And the people are great, too :-)

I love your home. Your home is very much like mine. I have some of the same windows that you do and I am having a problem with what to do with them. The high window over your sofa is just like mine. Have you put anything on it? I love the light but the darn thing always looks dirty. I also have an attic bedroom with windows like in your metal room. I have had them bare for 10 yrs and I want to dress them just a bit. Do you have any ideas for me? You have a real flare for putting your things together.

G'day there, Michelle from Aus here, I enjoyed looking at your photos, I love it all so far, definately colours I would use at some stage but I have chosen others for my renovations which are very 'bold' indeed! I do love your ceiling fan in the metal room (I think) and love the metal room, I use lots of white with my colour too. Maybe when I make them, if you are interested I could email you photos of my place. Let me know. I don't see me doing a web page. We have similar tastes and I appreciated your advice on my recent post. Keep up your good work (somehow I know you will) and by the look of your clean home, I don't think you have children? My darlings make it impossible to have the whole house clean at the one time. All the best!
