That shot you took on the Bow River with the "S" curve of the railroad is a very famous location in railroad photography circles. It's called "Morant's Curve", made famous by a publicity photographer for Canadian Pacific, the late Nicholas Morant. I read a riveting account of his when he was attacked by a grizzly bear on Rogers Pass while on a photo assignment. Go to GOOGLE sometime and type in his name. There's an excellent book called "Nicholas Morant's Canadian Pacific".
