Chancel

Salisbury, UK

This was enlarged, after collapsing in 1450, by a joint rebuilding in 1470
by the Dean and Chapter of the cathedral on the north side, and the Merchants and Citizens on the south side.

It was later beautified by the famous Victorian architect, GE Street, who designed the reredos above the altar,
as well as the east window showing Christ and his disciples.
