Their geese graze the fields by day and go in to the barn at night, for safety and to feed on the farm's own whole wheat.
Once the geese have reached six weeks old, and come off their starter rations, they never have any supplementary or prepared foods.
The staff at Withyslade think this produces a better quality goose, "with wonderful flavour".
