Even though we'd had to clamber over boulders and rock falls, we hadn't worked out -- until we got here,
and discovered we were actually meant to climb up the side of the waterfall -- why the walk we were on was graded as 'difficult'!

This is the outflow of the ugly Cow Green dam -- which, thankfully, built in 1969, hasn't ruined the impact of the Cauldron Snout falls....
