Suddenly realized that I hadn't put this in the walks section: even though it was the first one we did -- from my front door!
(Not all the photographs are from the route of the walk -- but the walk does cover much of this area!)

Walk number 16 from Nadder Valley Walks -- "Eighteen circular walks exploring the diverse countryside of the Nadder Valley",
produced by the Tisbury Footpath Club... -- Fovant and the Badges.

A fascinating walk of great variety -- with poignant overtones of wartime and remembrance --
taking in the region's most dramatic of hillside features: the Fovant Badges.
Fovant village lies along an attractive valley, whcih runs down to the Nadder.
