Limosa (limosa) islandica, the Icelandic (sub)species of the Black-tailed Godwit. This bird was ringed as adult male in Siglufjordur, N Iceland on July 15, 2010. It was reported from Norfolk (E.England) on February 20, 2011, and subsequently sighted in de Biesbosch (the Netherlands) on March 17 and 26, before turning up in Warmond on April 2nd, 2011. The ringing place is approximately 2000 km NW of the location of the photograph.
