Larus argentatus - Herring Gull
The dark eye mask and the barred inner and dark-centered outer greater coverts, creating a dark "triangle" on outer greater coverts initiallty suggested a Yellow-legged, but the absence of scapular moult and the strongly notched tertial point towards a Herring Gull.
