Lutino Ringneck which I gave up for breeding when we moved aboard a boat.

Update 6/06... the boy is a man! He is now showing his "adult male" ring after

this last molt. He is now such a macho bird... :)

Skyler is SO cute! I just got Jiminy, he's a green indian ringneck. He's still really young and he isn't exactly quiet. Your pictures are really inspiring to not give up on the training!

Skyler is simply gorgeous! and your pictures of him are wonderful! I have a yellow nape Amazon..Eloise...that I love dearly! She is a handful, tho....she is about 10 yrs old now and entering her puberty years! I have had her since a baby so its hard to get used to the "new" her...but..I am sure we will muddle thru it. Take care..and Skyler too!

Cindy, thanks for visiting Skyler's page. I never lost him (he's a him, I'm sure now) keep him inside mostly & always trimmed! He doesn't like to be handled either. He will mount on a finger & loves to give kisses but don't try to pet him. Shoulder rides are out also unless you need a new ear piercing.. :)

I hope you found Skyler...I have a blue female named Maia who is the cuddliest little girl and this reminds me to check her wings. My green, Cali, doesn't cuddle but does give lots of kisses and nose pets, no hands please (missed hand socialization as a baby as his first "mom" spent so much time at hospital with her mom...heart attack)...but he talks a lot, Heeerrreee Kitty Kitty kitty, tickle tickle tickle and Biiggg Kiss, (followed by large smacking noise) Lub you mommie. Also lots of other stuff...Female cuddles and coos but doesn't talk. Love them both muchly.

Sklyer looks just like my one year old blue, who's name IS "Blue" or "Blue Boy". Like you we don't know if he's a he or she yet, with no definite ring at 1 year. We treated him like a king and sad to say he flew off day as we were trying to clip his wings. We found him in neighbourhood trees but upon climbing them he's so individual he just walked away from us and out further in the trees and eventually has flown off again. We are beside ourselves in worry for him, and found him again this morning but again he flew off again. Treasure Skyler. The blues ARE the prettiest ones. We hope to find Blue again. Peter.
