My fascinating Vietnam

You can easily fill up your memory card before long when you are in Vietnam. My original country is so beautiful and diverse, though small. Beauty is everywhere, man-made or natural, in cities or in the countryside. The country is blessed with a 3,000km-shoreline, mountains, tropical rain forests and the largest cave in the world, Son Doong. Throughout the history, the country has been under different political regimes, suffered many many years of war, but it has always been a beautiful country. It seems that after 40 years in peace, the country is more beautiful than ever. You may hate the ruling regime (be it a colonialism, a defective democracy or an outdated communism) but have to love the country. They are 2 separate entities, like the dress and the body. The dress can be changed from time to time but the body is eternal.
If you are a shutterbug and have never been to Vietnam, I strongly recommend you to pack your camera and go there.
You have seen many photos of Vietnam before but I still want to show you Vietnam through my camera. Actually, part of Vietnam only. The whole country has many, many more beautiful scenes and interesting sights.
Like other Third World countries, Vietnam also has many ugly sights of poverty and being undeveloped (such as air pollution, noise pollution, sidewalks are taken over by vendors and motorbikes, littering everywhere, extensive indoor smoking, annoying lottery ticket hawkers etc.). But as a beauty-seeking photographer, ugliness is out of topic for me. My photo album is more an entertaining one than a fair and complete graphic report of Vietnam.
