POOR STUDENT'S NIGHT
Yellow dim light from the tired bulb.
Alone by the lightbulb, I am studying.
The cold wind is caressing the window glass.
The fog is veiling the veranda.
Cafeteria meals, rented apartment, lonely life.
My body and my heart are as cold as the night.
Textbooks are piling up before my eyes.
Yet only you are in my mind.
