PLEASE DON'T GROW UP QUICKLY,
Young lady, look at you, I'm moved.
At thirteen, you're so lovely.
Starry eyes, rose lips, silky hair.
Oh, a rose bud in the early morning.
Though you're being in a growth spurt
but I do not want you to soon quit childhood.
Starry eyes but not seducing glances.
Rose lips but not inviting lips.
Please keep your fragrant hair from getting into somebody's eyes.
If you want to love somebody,
It should be your friends and teachers and family.
Inside your young mind,
Please be school stuff only.
Candies and cookies,
Please still like them.
It means please do not grow up so quickly.
Please do not experience how to fall in love.
Love is sparkling like diamonds.
But love can also be glistering like tears.
Be careful, you look beautiful and talented.
But misfortunes usually accompany god's gifts.
You probably will break many hearts
but bring happiness to just one.
It's not fun to be an adult.
Adults have to carry so many life burdens.
You will feel sad, you will sigh.
You will regret your childhood be gone by.
Be a bud, not yet a flower.
Be innocent, the thirteen-year-old angel.
Go very slowly, the golden days.
Don't grow up so quickly, my young lady.
