Jesus on the mountain-Vung Tau

At 32 meters high, the statue of Jesus on top of Nui Nho mountain of Vung Tau city is the Vietnamese version of the famous Jesus statue in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Vung Tau, 110 km from Saigon, is the popular seaside playground for Saigonese.

Nha Trang is much better since lying outside the bay are strings of islands. It is less crowded and cleaner water. However it is a pain to go to Nha Trang from Sai Gon by bus - a torturous 10 hours!

Great place, I was here last year. Better than Nha Trang beach.
