Havana-Cuba

If you visit Havana, you may feel like crying. Almost 60 years of economic embargo imposed on Cuba by the U.S. has put a dirty, worn-out dress on a girl by the name Cuba, yet you still realize immediately that this girl is beautiful. The ugly dress reduces her beauty but it is still visible. Once the embargo is gone, the Cuba girl will become the beauty queen of Caribbean.
In most parts of the world, poverty usually comes with dirtiness, crime and poor health. Yet you find Havana surprisingly clean (both the streets and the air) and very safe; Cuban people are just as healthy and long-living as American people. You understand why Ernest Hemmingway loved Havana so much that he lived there for 20 years. You can see his old house and the pub he used to frequent.
