Calgary, AB, Canada

300km south of Edmonton is Calgary. Land area is smaller than Edmonton (5,107km2) but population is the same. You can feel the wealth of oil in this cosmopolitan city. Its downtown has more office towers than that of Edmonton. Shiny glass towers house head offices of most Canada's largest corporations. No surprise, this city has the highest rate of rich people per capita in Canada.
The Bow river runs through downtown, its green water provides abundance of trout fish. 2 lines of Light Rail Train, north-south and west-east, and an extensive network of buses well cover the whole city. The trains stay above ground even in downtown. While Churchill Square is the pride of Edmonton, Stephen Avenue, a pleasant promenade for Calgary pedestrians, is a model for world cities. Due to its proximity to Edmonton, Calgary enjoys the same amount of sunshine. It's hard to say which city we love more, Edmonton or Calgary. It's fair to say both are lovable, though it seems Calgary has more fun than Edmonton and it is on the 2013 list of top 10 cities in the world to live in.
