On the corner is a lion extending its craws, called "At the White Lion". In 1712, this building housed the White Lion Pharmacy, and the statue was added at that time. White Lion Pharmacy was in business for 130 years. The house then changed hands to a Tobacco merchant, and later on the Kafka family moved in at 1889.
