In 1826 there used to be the first Empire colonnade. In 1879 the iron-cast colonnade was built by Fellner and Helmer (their first work in Karlovy Vary). In 1939 it was disembled and a new temporary wooden pavilion was built. Today's apperance dates back to 1971 - 1975 and is the work of architect J. Otruba.
