H.M.S. Ganges Museum is located at Shotley Gate near Ipswich, in what was the Enright Block, on the foreshore of the former H.M.S. Ganges training establishment.
This gallery has been set up as a home for images that have not so far been added to the Museums Official Website https://www.hmsgangesmuseum.com/ The images have been gathered from the internet and the vast majority of them have come from former Ganges Boys.
The Gallery is maintained by volunteers and we do sometimes make mistakes so if you see one please leave a comment and we will do our best to correct it.
If you recognise yourself or someone we have not named please leave a comment below the image.
If you have a photo or document that you would like to see added to the collection please email a Hi-Res copy to the gallery email address on the profile page.
Other H.M.S. Ganges related items and hard copies of photos or documents can be donated to the Museum see the link for contact details https://www.hmsgangesmuseum.com/contact.php If you see an image that you own the copyright too and want it removed please leave a comment below the image or email us with evidence of ownership and we will remove it.

Please note that the date at the beginning of an images caption is either the date when the photo was taken or relates to or is the date of entry to HMS Ganges of the donor. Captions which end with either an alphabetical letter or a numeral indicates that there are other photos donated in the Gallery(s) by the same person. Some photos may appear in more than one gallery, for example a photo of the Hanger taken in 1962/3 is in the 1960’s, The Old Establishment and Aircraft at Ganges/RNTE Shotley galleries.
