The first batch of trainees returned to Shotley in October having been washed out due inclement weather, it reopened in February 1941 again for H.O. Comms ratings. Became a tender to H.M.S Ganges 08th April 1941 until 4th February 1942 when the command was transferred to H.M.S Cabbala – Highnam Court was finally vacated 9th November 1942.
