1953 - BARRY WELLS, COLLINGWOOD,.jpg

Yeo. Southall with 44 Mess Collingwood division. Holidng the Broom Coombes, top if the broom handle to the left. Boy Jackson, a boy back classed becaous of injury, behind his right ear Neville Pearson to his left Petit, Barry Wells it ot he right of Petit, belt high, Alan Fitton is below his chin and simmonds to Fittons left, full face.
A few more names came to mine. Ken Gibbs who changed his name to Longley in memory of his mother. He came to Ganges from Arethusa and had his fathers name.there were two Matthews in the group, one extreme left of photo top row with Hunkin is on his Left. Carl Jackson was quite a Field Hockey Player and by his left hand is Mike O'Brien who had quite a Boxing Match in the Annex with Bill Scott from Liverpool, great two minutes slugfest I had ever seen up to that time in 1952.One who I cannot see is Pat Kersey who was the Drum Major of the Bugle Band during his time at Ganges.
