This photo was taken between 1926 when the divisions were numbered 1 to 5 plus comms, and 1930 when divisions, by then 8 in number were named after famous admirals. With the football inscribed 1 Div and it is taken on the old playing field that later became the parade ground outside the original pavilion - the Instructor on the left appears to have a torpedo mans badge on his right sleeve!
