I JOINED ON 6TH SEPTEMBER 1949 TOO, FIRST IN THE ANNEXE (TYRWHITT 2) IF THAT'S THE CORRECT SPELLING, AND THEN IN BLAKE 6, DUNKIRK MESS IN THE MAIN ESTABLISHMENT. I EVEN INSTALLED THREE STEAM BOILERS THERE IN 1966.

Hello John Hannant,have just found this photo.I too joined HMS Ganges 6/9/49,138 Class,Collingwood Div.I think I was in 43 mess. PO MaCro was our Instructor.Long time no see!.
