June 16, 2005: Canada Goslings

Windsor, ON, Canada

These are the only Canada Goose goslings present
In Malden Park this year. It is sad.
Last year there were about 20-30 young hatched and raised in the same park.
This photo is from a month or so back
So the young are a lot more mature now.
I'll post an updated photo of them later this week

Hey, we'll take 'em, Jim! Please send our Great Egrets and Great Blue Herons back too. ;) Haven't seen many of either this year, thus far. :(

What's sad is that we seem to have a bunch of them here in Seattle. We would gladly ship them back up to you. They are beautiful birds but there's nothing fun about walking along the beach trying to avoid piles of goose pooh. Jim
