Spring is here, it's almost time for vacation again.
In the meantime, here's an archive photo from last year's vacation.
This is a nighttime photo of American Falls (Niagara Falls) basked in white light from the Canadian side.
Actually, Todd, both American and Horseshoe (Canadian) Falls are lit from a building on the Canadian side.
The lights shine across the river onto the falls.
I took quite a few long 15 second exposure shots of the falls, like this one, last summer.
I had to do a bit of tweaking to get the light to look as if the viewer was there.
The toughest part was minimizing the hotspot from the center of the beam of light.

Absolutely stunning shot Ray. I love how the falls are lit from behind -- very dramatic.

I like it, may try one like it later this year after I move to NY.....
