I'm not sure about the classification of this plant. I find some references to the Nightshade or solanaceae classification, but other references to dodecatheon and primulaceae classes. Also see

Hubert, the pic to the right also depicts a shooting star, not a columbine, as the caption suggests. The botanical name for shooting stars is Dodecatheon.
