Coleen, Thank you for you compliment. I'm not sure what species these oak trees are. The American Horticultural Society A-Z Encyclopedia states that there are over 600 species and lists less than 50. I thought they might be pin oaks but the bark seems to be too dark. When I find out a correct identification, I will let you know. I continue to admire your photographic talents.
