It is a rare occasion to see this corner so vacant.

This photo suggests to me a Edward Hopper theme of isolation in a metropolis. His studio is still intact a few blocks away.

Very upscale looking pub. By WV standards anyway. :) I'd stop in. Shatterbug's comment reminds me of the movie where the guy took photos of the same corner for years. Forget the name. Btw, those lintels are really something.
