Today was the opening of NY is Book Country at Washington Square. Traditionally this is the book festival where book publishers and authors promote their works in NYC. In past years, the festival has been located on midtown 5th Avenue and adjacent side streets. This is the first time it has been held at Washington Square. The audience was enraptured with this reading performance. Unfortunately, I did not have time to find out more about it.
