September 2, 2004. Today I friend told me I should choose a Moonflower Closing Out the Morning Sun photo at http://www.pbase.com/image/33300914 but I decided on the Canna Leaf. Nevertheless, I found both photos interesting.

This Canna variety plant is also called "Indian Shot." The fine veins in the leaf structure reminded me of the detailed decoration of the Acoma Indian pot photo I submitted yesterday at http://www.pbase.com/update_image/33266238 .
