Yes, this is indeed a Coreopsis also know as Tickweed and it belongs to the Aster family according to the American Horticultural Encyclopedia of Garden Plants. Thank you for helping me flower and plant identifications.

What a fun and pretty gallery you've put together.

This is Coreopsis (a perennial), not an aster. I only mention this since you asked for help w flower ID's, not to be pedantic (though I'm capable of that).

I'll swing by and offer a few more ID corrections. But for saying you don't know flowers, I'd say your mostly on the money with naming them. Thanks for sharing these lovely jewels.
