You could not pay me to ride a bicycle on NYC streets. Looks like there are like-minded people here too. It just hits your eyes that nobody has rented a bike here.

Mister Pickles, Thank you for your comment. Always appreciate what the viewers of my photos think about them. Tourists, weather conditions and seasonal factors greatly influence the use of these bicycles. As a long time resident of this area of Manhattan, I've campaigned to get private vehicles off our streets for better pedestrian facilities with public seating and more trees & gardens.
